JOB PURPOSE
The Systems Administrator will be responsible for providing daily operational requirements of computer network systems including workstation, file servers, and web servers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
  • Duties typically entail the installation of the following;
  • Hardware/software
  • System upgrades
  • Network accounts
  • Network security
  • Interface and updates
  • Local system design documentation
  • Develop and maintain web page design
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and implement network security tools including firewalls, anti-virus, and intrusion detection services.
  • Train staff on software applicable to their position
  • Assist customer with information Technology.
  • Monitor system configuration (hardware and software).
  • Provide instruction on computers and applications.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES

Education Requirements
  • Bachelor level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems
  • IAT Level II Certifications
  • This position requires an existing U.S. Government granted personnel security clearance at the Secret level.
  • Must be able to travel as needed.
  • Job Located at a U.S. Government Facility
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.

Experience Requirements
  • 3 years professional experience in systems administration
  • 3-5 years technical experience with test, data analysis, integration, experimentation, RF engineering expertise tasks in support of various IW, C4ISR, TDL, and LVC events.
  • Ability to operate effectively in a team environment as well as independently and provide direct interface with customers.
